Biography
Peter is responsible for the operational management of the African private equity business and is based in Johannesburg.
Peter joined Actis in 2004 from Ethos Private Equity where he spent 11 years, latterly leading the largest private equity deal in Africa to date, Waco International, and structured a number of black economic empowerment equity investments. Prior to joining Ethos, Peter spent three years as a corporate finance adviser for Anglo American plc in South Africa.
Peter holds a degree in Commerce and Accountancy from the University of Witwatersrand and is a chartered accountant.
