Biography
John is based in the Johannesburg office and is a member of the investment committee for Africa. John joined Actis in 2004, following nine years with Ethos Private Equity.
He has had extensive experience in the private equity industry and has been involved in managing some of the largest deals in South Africa. Prior to Ethos, John spent four years in the corporate finance industry.
John holds a BA in Commerce and Accountancy from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a chartered accountant.
