Matthew McCollum

Matthew joined Actis in 2011 and is based in our Johannesburg office.

His primary focus is on originating, executing and managing deals in the consumer sector in Africa. He currently sits on the boards of Coricraft, Food Lovers Market, Actom and Paycorp.

Prior to joining Actis, he worked at restructuring boutique Alvarez & Marsal in the UK and Deloitte Corporate finance.

Matthew is a chartered accountant and holds an honours in finance and accounting and a bachelor’s of business Science from the University of Cape Town.
