Polly has extensive experience working in sustainability across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia, primarily in the energy and natural resources sector.

She joined the Actis Sustainability team in 2021 where she delivers Actis’ strategy for responsible investment to create leading businesses and to achieve measurable positive socio-economic impact.

She is passionate about Actis’ commitment to sustainable infrastructure investments, as a means to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and enabling a ‘just’ low-carbon transition.

Prior to joining Actis, Polly was a manager in Deloitte’s Sustainability & Climate team for six years. Polly co-led the energy and natural resources sector, working internationally with large extractives companies on their sustainability and low-carbon/net zero programmes, helping to address complex sustainability risks and value creation opportunities.

During her time at Deloitte, she also led on ESG Due Diligence to private equity clients, working on mid-market private equity transactions across a variety of sectors.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cape Town in Business French & Spanish, including elective studies in Economics, with a focus on Development Economics.
