Gbemi Otudeko

Gbemi joined Actis in 2016 as a member of the Energy team focused on originating and managing investments in Africa. He is currently an investment manager overseeing Actis’ investment in Azura, a pan-African baseload power generation business.

Prior to Actis, Gbemi worked at Goldman Sachs for over eight years where he was involved in a broad range of debt, mezzanine, and equity financing transactions across Europe, Middle East and Africa. He also spent some time with Morgan Stanley in New York, where he worked on leveraged buyout transactions.

Gbemi holds a BSc. with Honours in Mathematics and Economics from Leeds University, an MBA from The Wharton School, and an MPA degree from Harvard University.
