Jitesh joined the Actis Energy Infrastructure team in 2016 and has since worked on several M&A transactions across Asia. He played a key role in managing Ostro, renewable energy platform in India from fund Actis Energy 3, which was successfully exited in 2018. He has been instrumental in setting up and managing Sprng (renewable energy platform with capacity of 2.2GW+ in India from fund Actis Energy 4) and is currently playing a leading role as Actis looks at new energy investment in India.

Prior to joining Actis, Jitesh worked at JM Financial, a leading investment Bank in India, and at Deutsche Bank Group in their Investment Banking Division for over three years, where he primarily worked on M&A transactions in the energy space (including advising Tata Power on acquisition of 1.1GW renewable portfolio of Welspun Renewables in India in 2016).

Jitesh is a qualified Chartered Accountant (All India Rank 22 in Finals) and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
