Mauricio is a Principal with the Energy Infrastructure team based out of the Austin office.
Mauricio joined Actis in 2021, he is responsible for evaluating and executing investment opportunities across the Americas and overseeing the execution of business plans across portfolio companies in the region. Most recently, Mauricio contributed to Actis’ investment in Catalyze, a leading renewable energy platform that develops distributed solar and battery storage infrastructure for commercial and industrial customers across United States.
Prior to joining Actis, Mauricio worked as an investment professional for Macquarie Capital, where he focused on energy and infrastructure investments across Latin America.
Prior to his time at Macquarie, Mauricio worked for the IFC Asset Management Company (World Bank) and Southern Cross Group, a leading Latin American private equity specialized in buyouts.
Mauricio holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia.
