Preyavart Gadhavi

Preyavart joined Actis in 2016. Preyavart provides expertise on a wide range of technical and commercial topics for renewables and battery storage and energy transition investments. He chairs the technical/operational steering committee for Blupine Energy and Rezolv Energy. He has also served and led the technical steering committees of realised investments, including Atlas, Saavi Energía, BTE Renewables, Sprng Energy, Echo Energía and Zuma Energía. Preyavart has also served as a Board Member on Athena Renewable Energy.

Prior to joining Actis, he spent over six years working in the international energy industry, initially at Samsung Engineering, an engineering conglomerate, in India and subsequently for British Gas Group, a multinational oil and gas company, in Australia. In both roles, he was responsible for capital projects, commercial advisory, contracting and project management of several large-scale oil and gas and infrastructure projects, including one of the world’s largest liquefied natural gas facilities of c.US$25 billion in Australia.

Preyavart holds an MBA, with a concentration in Finance and Private Equity, from London Business School, and holds an Master in Technology in Construction Technology and Management from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University, India.
