Stuart is Director of Knowledge & Information Management within Actis’ Operations Group, with responsibility for research, information retrieval and portfolio monitoring.
Stuart manages the Firm’s use of business, financial, market and company information as part of the deal origination and investment process. As part of his role, Stuart captures the financial performance data of the Firm’s investments and produces reports for each quarterly review cycle.
Prior to joining Actis, Stuart worked at Goldman Sachs for 14 years, where he was VP, responsible for managing Library and Information services in Europe. Prior to that, he was at the Financial Times for seven years working as Statistics & Market Data researcher for the FT Business Research Centre.
Stuart holds a B.Lib (Joint Honours) in Librarianship/Information Studies and History from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
