Actis launched BluPine Energy in 2022, targeting 4GW capacity of utility scale solar, wind and storage projects through a buy-and-build strategy with both government and C&I PPAs across India.
In November 2022, BluPine acquired a 404MW operating pan-Indian solar portfolio as part of its growth.
Working with Actis’ in-house Sustainability team, BluPine will implement world-class governance standards, focusing on key areas including health and safety, procurement, skills training within communities and biodiversity mitigation.
