“We are very well attuned to what energy demand arising from data centres looks like in growth markets.

“We are looking at all opportunities globally… in the short-term, data centres offer an enormous opportunity in the GCC region.

“It is true that there is less competition in Asia’s growth markets because two-thirds of the world’s capital on infrastructure is focused on developed markets. In the Middle East region, there has also been a significant competitive intensity from local capital.”
