Actis and MTerra Solar win Solar Deal of the Year at the PFI Asia Pacific Awards 2025

Actis and Meralco Powergen’s investments in MTerra Solar have been named Solar Deal of the Year at the PFI Asia Pacific Awards 2025.

The award recognises what we believe to be one of the most ambitious renewable energy projects globally.

By combining a significant 3.5GW of solar PV with 4.5GWh of BESS, MTerra Solar aims to leapfrog the intermittency phase of renewables to deliver firm, baseload clean power. This will make it one of the world’s largest integrated renewables and energy storage projects globally once complete.
