Sustainable Sanitation and Education for Brazilian Rural Communities
Many rural communities in Brazil lack adequate sewage infrastructure, which can be detrimental to the environment and community health. Atlantic is providing two of these communities in the Lagoa do Barro Complex with sustainable sanitation facilities.
15 local workers have been trained by Atlantic’s partners to install and maintain the septic tanks.
Through Actis Acts, Atlantic also sponsored 84 children’s education at a school for under privileged children in Curitiba, where all Atlantic staff volunteer.
