Bijal Patel

Bijal is a Managing Director responsible for Actis’ Fund and Investment Operations, which covers all aspects of investor services, funds administration, SPV governance and transaction support activities.

As part of his role, he chairs Actis’ valuation committee and is also a board member across a number of Actis group and fund GP entities.

Before joining Actis, Bijal worked at GMT Communications Partners for seven years, where he was responsible for fundraising and investor relations. Prior to that, he was at KPMG for eight years, initially within audit and assurance and subsequently within M&A advisory where he managed a number of buy-side, sell-side and capital market advisory mandates.

Bijal is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
