José is a Principal focusing on execution and portfolio management activities, covering the Americas region from the São Paulo office. Since joining the firm in 2020, José has participated in the investment of Serena Energia and Orygen.
Before joining Actis, José worked as a senior associate at Mubadala Capital, where he executed transactions in the financial services, toll roads and real estate sectors. José began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in São Paulo.
José holds a BSc degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) and is a CFA Charterholder.
