Markus Hieronymi

Markus joined Actis in 2022 and has since held a wide range of group finance responsibilities. Most recently, he worked with the firm’s leadership on strategic initiatives, including the combination with General Atlantic. He works closely with many parts of the business, including fund heads, deal teams, capital raising, and operations colleagues to help strengthen the firm’s corporate finance and financial planning and analysis capabilities.

Markus has over 12 years of corporate finance and business transformation experience. He started his career in management consulting within the financial services industry, primarily in financial restructuring and strategic transformations. His later experience includes working for companies in the satellite and technology sector where he was responsible for the corporate financial planning and overall finance function as head of FP&A and CFO, respectively.  Markus holds a BSc in Business Administration and an MSc in Finance.
