Rachael works as Manager, Talent Acquisition at Actis. She initially joined Actis in January 2020, to develop Actis’ Associate Programme and implement a strategy for growth and success year on year. The development of an I&D centred recruitment strategy has seen positive results on diverse representation in a short timeframe, with representation of women doubling over the last 3 years in Associate intakes. Her role has expanded to include recruitment of all investment professionals at Actis.

Rachael is a good example of the diverse range of talents at Actis, having come from a non-traditional background herself. She trained as a professional actor (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama) and her prior experience spans executive search (FreshMinds Talent), research & insight in projects spanning the healthcare, education, financial services and telecommunications sectors (Decidedly), as well as operational roles across serviced office management, event and project management.
