Actis wins Latin America Acquisition of the Year at Proximo’s Deals of the Year Awards 2026

Actis’ investment in Colombian toll roads platform, Vialtis, has won Latin America Acquisition of the Year at Proximo’s Deals of the Year Awards 2026.
The award recognises our acquisition of a 416km portfolio of operational toll roads from Sacyr last year, funded through our Second Long Life Infrastructure Fund. The portfolio comprises three assets: the Pamplona-Cúcuta toll road, the Rumichaca-Pasto highway connecting Colombia with Ecuador, and a co-control stake in Autopista al Mar 1.
The transaction marked the launch of our first Latin American toll roads platform and builds on our roads investment programme in India through NXT Infra Trust. We believe Colombia’s toll roads sector offers the long-term, inflation-linked returns our investors look for.
Thank you to Proximo Infra for this recognition. The award came merely a week after Actis won Road Deal of the Year at the 2026 LatinFinance Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards for the same investment in Vialtis.
