FRI 1 DEC: Actis, Emicool and Yellow Door Energy at COP28

With Dubai hosting COP28, the UAE is playing a leading role in coordinating the world’s response to climate change. The UAE, and the Middle East more broadly, is a key region for Actis and we have been putting our strategy to work here, having invested in leading C&I renewable energy company Yellow Door Energy and district cooling provider Emicool. As an aside, the site hosting COP28 is cooled by Emicool.

These two businesses are showing the way for the energy transition in the region and a perfect demonstration of why prioritising sustainability pays off and makes sense from a business perspective. As we say at Actis – values drive value.
