Abhishek is a Partner and leads its energy investment business in India. He joined Actis in 2012 and has 19 years of investing experience in energy and infrastructure sectors in growth markets. Since joining Actis, Abhishek has led several renewable investments for Actis in India including Ostro, Sprng Energy and now Blupine Energy.
Prior to joining Actis, Abhishek worked with the International Finance Corporation in India from 2005 to 2011 where he focused on equity, project finance and corporate debt transactions in diverse sectors with a focus on power sector investments in several thermal, wind and solar businesses.
Abhishek currently serves as a Board member of Blupine Energy.
Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.
