Polly is a Director in Actis’ Sustainability team. She joined Actis in 2021 and has eleven years’ experience working in sustainability globally. She works with deal teams and portfolio companies on risk mitigation and value creation opportunities related to sustainability and leads Actis’ climate resilience and reporting work.
Prior to joining Actis, Polly was a Manager in Deloitte’s Sustainability team for seven years. Polly co-led the energy and natural resources sector, working internationally with large extractive companies on their sustainability programmes, as well as leading ESG Due Diligences for private equity transactions across a variety of sectors.
Polly holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cape Town in Business, French & Spanish, including elective studies in Economics and Development Economics.
