Actis wins at Environmental Finance Sustainable Investment Awards 2025

Actis has won the award for ESG investment initiative of the year, Asia at the Environmental Finance Sustainable Investment Awards 2025 for its investment in Indian renewable energy platform BluPine Energy.

This award win represents a further award for BluPine Energy’s skills development programme.

This programme has seen BluPine Energy inaugurate 12 innovative skill development centres in Gujarat and Chhattisgargh to deliver training in the installation and operation of utility-scale renewable energy projects to members of the local community from underprivileged backgrounds. The programme promotes domestic participation in India’s energy transition whilst also helping to addressing the growing talent gap to serve India’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector.

This is just one example of how Actis and its portfolio companies seek to use sustainability to drive value, with programmes such as this playing a key role in securing a social licence to operate while also putting best-practices in place to preserve and drive the value of our platforms.
