Actis wins four awards at PEI and Infrastructure Investor awards

LONDON, 1 March 2024: Actis, a global investor in sustainable infrastructure, has won four awards at the Infrastructure Investor 2023 Global Awards and Private Equity International 2023 Awards.

Actis was named as the PEI Frontier Markets Firm of the Year 2023 at the Private Equity International 2023 Awards, reaffirming its position as a leading global investor in growth markets. 2023 marked another strong year for Actis, with the firm making 10 investments, 10 exits, committing US$2.7 billion worth of capital and deploying US$1.4 billion. The award in particular recognises Actis’ standout work across Asia, Latin America and Africa.

The firm was also victorious in three categories at the Infrastructure Investor 2023 Global Awards. Actis won the awards for Infrastructure Investor Fund Manager of the Year Middle East and Africa, Infrastructure Investor Deal of the Year Middle East and Africa, and Infrastructure Investor Energy Transition Deal of the Year Middle East and Africa for the firm’s sale of Lekela Power – Africa’s largest renewable energy deal at the time of exit.
