Director: Value Creation Group

“The satisfaction of improving a portfolio company and subsequently seeing it grow and expand – and then positively impact the community in which it operates – is priceless.”

Vincent joined Actis in September 2011, drawn not only by our growth markets emphasis but by a shared desire to create value in the portfolio through active board involvement. His role is win-win: enabling him to learn about new industries from investee management teams while lending his own experiences to help their companies grow.

Vincent works alongside the deal teams and investment managers to ensure Actis makes a consistently meaningful impact on its portfolio companies: his role in Actis’ Value Creation Group concentrates on implementing strategic and operational improvements in the Actis investment portfolio. This fits well with his prior experience where he held various functional and general management roles at Momentive Performance Materials and General Electric. He has a proven track record of leading diverse teams with P&L responsibility and driving strategic, operational and integration initiatives in the US, Europe and Asia.

Vincent received a Masters in Economics at Cambridge University, and has a degree in Economics and Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University, in Waterloo, Canada.
